I can't wait to teach my Stamping Friends, how to create a Mini Scrapbook.
These are so darn cute and easy to make.

I used the Truly Greatful, Stampin Up set. (131733)
And a retired DSP.
I love any idea that alows me to use up old Designer Series papers.
Christmas is just around the corner and this is a beautiful gift giving idea.

Just for Fun!

Spending time in my room today, while it once again snows.
Yuk!!

I wanted to try making a mini scrapbook using some
extra pockets and pages left over from previous projects.
I can't remember where I found the tutorial for the pocket pages.
But this post is more about using scraps, leftovers and UFO's (UnFinished objects)
Sooooo........
This project turned out to be a mod-podge.
I picked up a paper pack at a rummage sale,
to create a beautiful scrapbook for a Christmas gift.
After creating the Christmas gift, I ended up with one, double sided pocket page.
Which I used in the center of my scrapbook.
I created two more pockets, using scrap papers, and added one to the front and back (inside) covers.
Also using scraps I created front and back covers.
Which gave me a four pocket mini scrapbook.

I love my Stampin Up stamps,
and find myself using them, regardless of the project I'm working on.
Using the Petite Petals Bundle (134822), the Flower Shop Bundle  (132726),
and Perfect Pennants stamp set (133227)
I created this cute cover.....

I liked the placement of the flowers so much,
so I dug in my scrap box and found an odd sized card (probably one I cut wrong)
And decided to make a matching card.

I couldn't stop there.
I decided this was such a cute design, that I created one for my stamping friends.
At May's class we will make this card, with the bright spring colors!!!!

I am having way too much fun with these stamps!

Happy Stamping!

Altered Manila File Folder Mini book

I happened to be cruising YouTube, and found a
way to turn a manila file folder into a cute mini book.
I decided to give it a try.
I used retired Stampin Up DSP, and some of our newer stamps.
Day Dream Medallions (126467)
And a new set from the Sale-a-bration,
You're Lovely (133578)

Here is my version of the File Folder Mini!!!

Decorating these is going to be fun.
Good thing I found a box of manila folders in my husbands desk.
Opps, Sorry Honey!!!! You weren't using them anyway.

If your looking for this, check out YouTube, search Altered Manila File Folder.

Happy Stamping!

Smash Book, from recycled Cereal Boxes.

Smash books have become popular over the last year or so.
I see them as a diary/scrapbook/planner all smashed into one.
Its just another way to scrap our memories.

You can buy these books in stores, but Nothing is more special than one you create yourself.
I have seen books made using all kinds of recycled materials.
Cereal boxes seem to be in abundance in my home.
So naturally I would make my Smash book using the boxes.

Cut up the cereal boxes to the size you want your book.
I choose 5x7 inches.
I cut 6 pieces of cereal card boards, but you can cut however many you want your book to be.
I then cut Scrapbook papers 5x7, Mod-Podged them to the card boards, front and back.
Punched holes where I wanted my rings to go.
Then decorated as desired.

And waa-laa!
My Smash Book!

Front

I added pockets in mine.

Envelopes are even cute to add.

Don't forget the ribbons and trinkets!!!

I made two books. One to keep and one to give away at class....
What a fun way to share.....

Don't Forget to sign up for classes.

Happy Stamping!
