My last creation for my Mother.
Mom fought stage 4 cancer for 4 long years, and fought it to her last breath.
I often question.... how cruel is God for giving the innocent such horrible deceases?
But Mom never wavered in her faith.
And did what she loved, till the end.
Mom passed on Memorial Day, May 26th. At the young age of (almost) 65.
Her 65th Birthday was the 30th.
She has no more pain. However, we are left to suffer a broken heart.
Mom's passion was Quilting.
Which she learned from her Mother and Great Grandmother.
She taught my sister and I to do the same.
Fabric was Mom's drug of choice, and mine turned from fabric to Paper.
Every time I visited Mom, she always had quilts that needed quilting.
Most were donated to the Sunshine Quilting guild, which donates to Children's Hospitals.
Mom left some unfinished quilts and projects behind.
I look forward to helping Mom finish her quilts, one last time.
I will think of her, as I finish those projects and pass them on to those she loved.
I loved creating for Mom. Birthday cards and such.
All of them loaded with family pictures, pop-ups and all kinds of amazing special effects.
She kept everything I sent her, and was my only follower on this blog.
I was asked to create one last book for Mom.
With a broken heart and lots of tears I created a book in her favorite spring colors......
The guest book.
Nothing ordinary...... for an Extraordinary Woman!!!!
I Love you Mom!
