I would have had enough Cards to mail out.
Nope!

I spent last weekend making 24 more cards.
Here are a few  >>>

And our tree wasn't complete without a couple of hand made ornaments!

Wishing Everyone
Merry Christmas!

SU, Blooming with Kindness Wedding invitations

Blooming with Kindness is such a beautiful stamp set.
So when my Daughter asked me to make simple Elegant wedding invites for her,
I chose this stamp set.

Purple is her color, and it is a Royal color. Perfect choice for my oldest Daughter!

The card is simple, a little glitter add something special!

(Dates have been blurred)
The flower on the front was stamped with Elegant Eggplant,
then stamped again with Versa mark and Iridescent Ice embossing powder.
You can't see it but it does glitter nicely.

Once the belly band is removed, inside is the wedding invite. On opposite side is a pocket with the Reception information behind the RSVP return envelope and card.
We are keeping it all very simple.

This card was easy to make, once we figured out the design.
With an assembly line, we will have these made in no time.

And last but not least....
The Thank you Card to match her set.

My class enjoyed making this card in class!
As I showed of the invite!

Simple, Fun, Easy, Beautiful, Elegant!

Happy Stamping!

SU, Recycled Wreath

I don't remember where I saw this idea. I knew that I wanted to CASE it someday.
Today was that Day.
I bought a foam wreath from a craft store.
Any size will do. Mine was 16 inches.
Using Stampin' Up!s Fancy Flower Punch, and the Packing paper from the box my Stampin' Up! order came in,I punched out hundreds of flowers.
I hot glued ribbon on to hang the wreath when I was done.
Then I wrapped the paper flower around a pencil eraser, dabbed hot glue to the end of each flower and stuck it to the foam wreath.
I repeated this with each flower till my wreath was covered.
I remember doing this technique, in grade school, with tissue paper to make paper mache' pinata's.

Then I used Stampin' Up!'s Beautiful Wings Embosslits to make the butterflies.

Its a couple day project.
I punched all the flowers one day, while watching movies,  and made the wreath today.
I can't wait to show it off at class!

Happy Stamping!!

SU Medallion and Inspired by Nature

Two of my favorite Stampin' Up! stamps are retiring!
Its sad to see them go.
On the plus side, I'm expecting some awesome New stamp sets to take their place.

Say good bye to "Inspired by Nature"
I love this set. It makes beautiful cards and yet its big enough to make scrapbook pages.

The double mounted set makes the most of the grasses on one side and the flowers on the other.
Love this Stamp.

Another favorite on the retirement list is the "Medallion" stamp.
I have used this the most and will miss it the most.

I mounted mine on a clear block, because I used it so much.
I found it easier to see where I was placing it.

I you are interested in either of these stamps, before they are gone forever, give me a call.
Or email me.

Happy Stamping!

Mini photo book

I've been pretty busy lately. Not enough time spend in the scrap room.
I was lucky enough to spend a few hours tonight.
I wanted to look for a demo project to make for my up coming card class.
Well I didn't find one but I sure did find a cute idea for a mini photobook.
here is the web site with the instructions.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zXKBx4mt3M

I just had to make one for myself.
Its such and easy book, that I've decided to use this idea for a class.

Here is one of the books I created tonight.

FRONT

INSIDE.... each page has a pocket to slide in tags or more photos.

INSIDE....

These are not Stampin' Up! supplies.
I used stuff that I've had for years. This was a test project.
It turned out well.

I will do another with Stampin' Up! products so that I can have a class.
I look forward to sharing that with you.
Happy Stamping!!!

Every Egg, Stampin Wheel

I love the idea of taking apart the Stampin' Around Wheels and using the images single.
On this Easter card I used only three of the eggs and a bunny to create the center piece for the front.
It didn't take much to color it in and add glitter to create a nice Easter Card for the kids.

Happy Easter!

Random Cards

Its been a while since I've been able to post.
It has been crazy-busy around here.
I am offically a Grandmother now!
Very exciting!
No more late night feedings for me, but I can cuddle whenever I want too.
I think I'm going to love being a Grandma.

I had some time to play in my scraproom.
I choose to make some cards using scrapbook paper I bought at a CM weekend retreat.
I love the chance to get away and work on my own scrapbooks.

Anyway, here are two cards I whipped up today.

Wishing you all a Happy Day!
