Random Cards

Its been a while since I've been able to post.
It has been crazy-busy around here.
I am offically a Grandmother now!
Very exciting!
No more late night feedings for me, but I can cuddle whenever I want too.
I think I'm going to love being a Grandma.

I had some time to play in my scraproom.
I choose to make some cards using scrapbook paper I bought at a CM weekend retreat.
I love the chance to get away and work on my own scrapbooks.

Anyway, here are two cards I whipped up today.

Wishing you all a Happy Day!

Mixed Bunch, Teacher card

Today was my son's first music recital.
He did a fantastic job playing the Indian Song on Piano.
To Thank his Piano Teacher, for all she does, I made a card for her this morning.

All but one item was Stampin' Up! items.
I used the Mixed Bunch stamp set, Blossom Punch,
and the Everyday Enchantment DSP.
The only thing extra, Non- Stampin' Up! item ,was the embossing folder with music on it.
The card turned out perfect for such and Awesome Piano Teacher!!!!

Happy Stamping!

Window Card

I saw a demo of this card somewhere.  Maybe I saw it on Stamping Connection.
Wherever I spied it, it was beautiful, so I wanted to try one of the window cards.
Here is what I created.
Happy Stamping!

The clear plastic I used to create the window, was recycled from packaging that some scrapbooking stuff comes in.

Recycled cards!

I usually save birthday and Christmas cards.
There are all kinds of recycling uses for them.
Mostly I use the old cards to make tags for gifts.
But today, I made New Cards out of Old store bought cards.
My friend gave me a handful of cards, and here is what I did with them.
I hope it incourages others to Recycle for fun!

For these recycled cards,
I used mostly scrap paper from my scrap box.

Love & Laughter, and scraps

Today I find myself trying not to think of all the disaster's happening south of my home.
I can not imagine losing my home, all I possess, and loved ones.
My heart goes out to every one of those family's searching through rubble today.
And it reminds me to be thankful for each moment with my family.

To help cheer myself  up, I decided to focus on making cards.
Using the new stamp set
Love & Laughter.
I also thought I'd use up scraps from my massive scrap box.
The cards you are looking at below are Stampin' Up! copyright images.
Some Stampin' Up! paper was used.
The rest of the products are unknown to me.
Some left over ribbon, I bought probably 10 years ago.
And papers may have been just as old.
The collections I have are extensive, and I can never remember where or when I bought them.

I hope I have some weddings coming up, so that I may use these pretty cards!
Happy Stamping!
